- On behalf of others- Everyone is liable for their own actions, you don’t have to be everyone’s saviour all the time. Don’t apologize on behalf of others’ sins. Remember, they aren’t your responsibility, whatever wrong they’ve done only they are accountable for their fault. The least you can do is make them realise their mistakes but never apologize for them, be it your friends, family or colleagues.
- For following a set routine- Being disciplined is a choice and following a set routine or pattern isn’t your fault, it’s something you like and that you’ve raised like this by your family. If you follow a planned schedule, it’s nothing to worry about rather than complaining and making you feel guilty of having your choices, people should get inspired by you. Henceforth, you don’t have to apologize for being systematic.
- Being straightforward and not sugar coated- Truth is bitter and is often sugar coated by people so that it doesn’t hurt, but do you think speaking truth will have detrimental effects? Maybe, people don’t want to hear the truth and want to live in a fantasy world but be bold enough to reveal the truth and don’t deceive anyone just to make them happy. Never apologize for telling the truth, it will set you free as it’s a reality, not a theory.
- Being yourself- Everyone is unique, they have their own traits, don’t compromise or adjust to change yourself for someone. Respect yourself for who you are. If society wants you to change your beliefs and wants you to be someone exactly opposite from your personality and you disagree with this thought, then please don’t apologize for this at all. Be true to yourself! You don’t have to change your authentic self for anyone else.
- Prioritizing yourself- Never feel sorry for choosing yourself first over others, there is no harm in doing so. After all, self-love and self-care is really important, setting your priorities isn’t wrong and if that list tops your name, then don’t apologize for this even if someone instigates you to lose your self esteem, never ever do that.
- Following your heart- Apologizing for following your heart, means following what you love isn’t lame. Now, ofcourse if you follow anyone in random on road it’ll be a trouble for you. Following your heart means you have a certain plan and you believe it will work, it might be a start-up business and you know it will be a success, plan it out, see if it is profit incurring or not, then accordingly execute it.
There’s nothing wrong in this if you plan out this way, nothing to apologize for.
